Re: pressure [ENDORSED]
Pressure can be increased by adding an inert gas into the container! However, the inert gas won't cause any changes in the equilibrium of the chemical equation. Additionally, pressure can also increase if you increase the temperature, as they are both directly proportional to each other (PV=nRT).
Re: pressure
Increasing temperature increases pressure, and we know this because of the ideal gas law.

Re: pressure
Pressure can be changed by changing the temperature or adding an inert gas without changing the volume.
Re: pressure
If you look at the equation pV = nRT changing either temperature or inert gas (if volume remains constant) will change pressure.

Re: pressure
For the effect of something like pressure, use the ideal gas law PV=nRT. Increasing something on one side will increase something on the other side.

Re: pressure
Increasing the temperature will increase the pressure and other factors can change pressure if you consider the equation PV=nRT.

Re: pressure
Yes, by PV=nRT, pressure (P) can be increased by increasing the temperature (T) or increasing the moles (n) of the substance involved (assuming no other variables are changed for simplicity's sake).

Re: pressure
PV=nRT is a good formula that shows the relationship between pressure, volume, temperature, concentration, and moles. Increasing moles and temperature will increase the pressure.

Re: pressure
I think if you increase the amount of gas or increase the temperature it also increases temperature.
Re: pressure
PV=nRT so if you increase the temperature and the number of moles and keep the volume constant, you can increase pressure.
