Re: Ideal Gas Law
You can use the ideal gas law when converting between concentrations and partial pressures.

Re: Ideal Gas Law
The ideal gas law (PV=nRT) is used to convert between molar concentration and partial pressure (Kc and Kp).

Re: Ideal Gas Law
The ideal gas law can first be used to solve for an unknown property for a gas problem, or it can be rearranged to P=(n/V)RT to convert between concentration and partial pressure for gases.

Re: Ideal Gas Law
The ideal gas law (Pv = nRT) can be rearranged to create the equation P = (n/v)RT. P represents pressure and n/v represents concentration while R and T are constants/given so you can convert between partial pressure and molar concentration based on the information given in the problem.

Re: Ideal Gas Law
It can be used to solve for any of the variables in the equation. Temperature is constant, so it'll be used to solve for the other conditions.

Re: Ideal Gas Law
The ideal gas law (PV=nRT) can be used to solve for any of the variable in it and can also be used to convert between partial pressure and molar concentration.
