Midterm 2019

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \Delta H^{\circ} - T \Delta S^{\circ}$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= -RT\ln K$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(products) - \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(reactants)$

Re: Midterm 2019

Since he said up to entropy, it is up to the "Second and Third Laws of Thermodynamics", but only part of Chapter 9.

Basically, study chapters 11, 12, 8, and Chapter 9 up to section 9.8 in the 6th edition.

Re: Midterm 2019

The midterm covers everything up to last Friday's lecture, so Chemical Equilibrium, Acid and Base Equilibria, Thermochemistry, Thermodynamics to the end of entropy, but not including Gibb's free energy.

Re: Midterm 2019

The midterm covers everything up to before Gibb's free energy!

so acids and bases, equilibrium, thermodynamics (1st, 2nd, 3rd laws)

Re: Midterm 2019

To the end of entropy so we end right before Gibbs Free Energy
