$\Delta G^{\circ}= \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(products) - \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(reactants)$

Gibbs Free Energy

Does a more negative Gibbs Free Energy value mean that a reaction is more spontaneous? Meaning the rate of reaction is faster?

The spontaneity of a reaction does not indicate the reaction rate, so not necessarily.

higher negative gibbs free energy doesnt affect the rate of reaction, it just mean that the reaction will release more energy
