Does anyone know if it matters whether to use H+ vs H3O+ when writing redox reactions?
I think in the textbook it says to write H+ instead.

Re: H+ vs H3O+
I think we're supposed to use H+ when balancing acidic redox reactions for simplicity.

Re: H+ vs H3O+
It is better to use H+ because H30+ would cause us to balance oxygen again, and thus, H+ would be a better option to use.

Re: H+ vs H3O+
Some people say to use H+, and I'm not sure if it's the same as with acids and bases because during that time using either one was fine.
