$\Delta G^{\circ}= \Delta H^{\circ} - T \Delta S^{\circ}$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= -RT\ln K$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(products) - \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(reactants)$

How do you know when to give ΔG in kJ or kJ/mol?

It should be based on the context of the question and whether or not they are mentioning mols.

I think you should generally use kJ/mol, especially when some particular reaction is involved. That way you know that you are referring to how much energy is released or absorbed each time that reaction is performed.

Other than that, look at the context of the question and the units of the values given to you.

If the question gives certain values per mol then you know to use kJ/mol.

If a certain reaction is involved, the answer should be in units of kJ/mol

When the question gives you a chemical reaction or units with moles, I would use kJ/mol
