Technically nothing in the class is curved, the tests are given a score but not a grade and then at the end of the quarter once everyone’s scores out of the total 500 for the class is known is when a grade is given

Dr. Lavelle may average the overall class grades based on the everyone's grades after the quarter is over, but I don't believe that this test in particular will have its scoring adjusted.

I don't believe Professor Lavelle's are curved. I know that he does, however, curve our ending scores after our final. So even if this test isn't curved, our overall grade will be.

Each test/exam usually isn't curved. However, if our final grades are curved, it will be in our favor and should only be to improve our scores

Here is what Lavelle said in the syllabus:
"Each test and exam has a total score but is not assigned a grade. Only at the end of the class when
the class average score (out of 500 points) is known are final grades assigned. This class does not
use a curve."
So, its probably not very likely that the test will be curved based on this information.
