## delta G = 0 ??

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \Delta H^{\circ} - T \Delta S^{\circ}$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= -RT\ln K$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(products) - \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(reactants)$

### Re: delta G = 0 ??

delta G is zero when the reaction is at equilibrium. delta G standard is the same value, whether it's zero or not doesn't matter, because its the calculate of delta G at certain standard conditions.

### Re: delta G = 0 ??

delta G equals to 0 when the equation is at equilibrium. At equilibrium, the amount of energy released by reactants is used by the products or vice versa. As a result, there is no change in free energy because all the energy released is absorbed.

delta G standard is equal to zero when K=1, which I believe is very rare.
