Test 2: Gibb's Free Energy Question

Postby Jennifer Su 2L » Mon Mar 11, 2019 9:57 pm

Does anyone know the answer to these and why?

1. The precipitation of snowflakes inside a cloud at -10 degrees Celcius and 0.839 atm. Is deltaG <0, =0, or >0?

2. The sublimation of dry ice in a warm room. Is delta G <0, =0, or >0?

I don't know the answer and am confused on those as well so I'm going to go to the review of Test 2 in Haines 39 at 11 am. I'm sure the TA will go over the answers and explain it there.
