Pre-equilibrium vs. steady-state
Under what conditions is it okay to use the pre-equilibrium method and vice versa for steady-state?

Re: Pre-equilibrium vs. steady-state
You use pre-equilibrium when you have an intermediate listed in your slow step. You don't use steady state because it's super mathy and he never taught it to us in class.

Re: Pre-equilibrium vs. steady-state
the pre-equilibrium approach is a simpler way to get to the same solution with less complication.

Re: Pre-equilibrium vs. steady-state
the steady step is never used in this class according to Dr. Lavelle since it requires too much math.

Re: Pre-equilibrium vs. steady-state
I would avoid steady-state even as a sanity check primarily because it's long math intensive and time consuming.
