Re: Final
It'll probably be pretty strict because thermodynamics and kinetics require specific units.

Re: Final
I don't think so, but on previous exams/midterm sig figs weren't counted for every problem, only for 1-2
you always need the correct units though!

Re: Final
In my personal opinion, I think units are more important for organizing your thought process through a question, as opposed to the few points it'll be worth on the exam.

I feel that he will be strict on units but my TA said that they will probably be lenient on the sig figs

Re: Final
I think that since the TAs do the grading they are more lenient on sig figs, but units are very important.

Re: Final
I think you should just be careful with sig figs on the final just to be safe! I don't think it would be stressed that much, though.

Sig figs are probably important to keep in mind, but I would pay even more attention to the units and conversions to be on the safe side

Re: Final
I went to a review session and the TA said to really be careful with units. It could mark you down quite a bit.

Re: Final
Just stay on the safe side and make a mental note of what needs units and what doesn’t. Like in equilibrium they cancel out.
