What are the notes referring to when they say the orientations of colliding molecules must be the same?

when reactant molecules collide to form products, the reactants must collide with enough energy and in the correct orientation to overcome the activation potential. We didn't go into much detail about orientation. Just know that the frequency factor (A) in the Arrhenius equation represents the percentage of collisions that collide with sufficient energy and in the correct orientation (A is specific for each reaction at certain temperatures).

I believe that is just one of the conditions that must be met for collisions, but the definition of the frequency factor is already defined for molecules under the same orientation, so you don't need to change or solve for anything.
