sig figs

Postby Christina Chang 1C » Sun Mar 17, 2019 12:11 am

When you calculate delta G with the equation delta G=-nFE and you use the numbers n=2 and E=2.05 V, would the answer be in 1 sig fig or 3 because 2 may be inexact?

Since you have to do the lower number of sig figs, the answer would have one digit.

In that case I would do 2 to account for the decimal and what not
