How do we plot a second order reaction on a graph to get a straight line?

For a second order reaction, a plot of 1/[A] vs t should give you a straight line with a positive slope.

The equation for the second order integrated rate law is
kt + 1/[A]o = 1/[A]
where k is a positive slope in the straight line graph

In order to get a straight line plot for a second order rxn you must use the integrated rate law and plot 1/[A] vs. time. The slope will be a positive K value
