Wavelength and Temperature

1B.11 The star Antares emits light with maximum intensity at 850 nm. What is the temperature at the surface of Antares?

What is the relationship between wavelength and temperature? Can someone explain the equation needed to solve this question?

Temperature is inversely proportional to the maximum wavelength. This problem is solvable using Wien's law and the constant 2.9mm*K.

There is a short section in the textbook about Wein's law that helped me better understand this. You should check out section 1B of the textbook.
