Constants in the Quantum World
Hey, can anyone list all the constants of the formulas of quantum for future reference? Like the speed of light is c=3.00*10^8 m/s, what else? Do we need to remember all of them? I believe it will save most of us lots of time. Thank you.

h= 6.626 x 10^-34 Js and R= 3.29 x 10^15 Hz are the only other ones I can think of.

Sure! I think we only need to know these (on a test, they will be provided) -
Plank's Constant: h=6.62608 x 10^-34 J.s
Rydberg Constant: R=3.28984 x 10^15 Hz
Speed of Light: c=2.99792 x 10^8 m.s-1
Mass of electron: me=9.109383 x 10^-31 kg
Plank's Constant: h=6.62608 x 10^-34 J.s

In my experience, remembering not only the values of constants but also the molar masses of common elements saves a lot of time.

When we are doing problems like these, is the mass of an electron always in terms of kg? Or do we have to convert them to g?

so the constants will be given, but will the formulas that use the constants be given or do we have to memorize the different formulas?

On the test we took the formulas were given but I would memorize them just in case and also understanding the formulas helps you understand the concepts. As for the constants- I think those will always be given.
