How do you know if electrons are paired or parallel to each other?

From what I remember in lecture, electrons are typically first paired in the s orbital and are placed parallel first in every other orbital

Electrons fill up orbitals one at a time with parallel spin before going back and filling in the second electron in the orbital, which would be paired spin with the first electron in the orbital.

Based on Hund's Rule, electrons will always start parallel and fill up all of the orbitals with only one electron before going back and pairing up.

Electrons are filled parallel in each orbital first and then become paired after each orbital has an electron
