They’re held together by electrostatic attraction (the attraction between atoms of opposite charges)

Because one is positive and the other is negative, they are attracted to each other.

'in an ionic bond, one molecule is positive and one is negative. Their opposite charges create an electrostatic attraction between the molecules, holding them together.
