Is there a difference between the dipole-dipole interaction and induced dipole-induced dipole interactions?

Re: interactions
dipole-induced dipole is a weak attraction that results when a polar molecule induces a dipole in an atom or in a nonpolar molecule by disturbing the arrangement of electrons in the nonpolar species. Dipole-dipole interactions align the molecules to increase the attraction.A dipole is two opposite charges closely spaced to each other.

Re: interactions
The dipole dipole interaction happens between a fully charged ion and a partially charged dipole. The induced dipole interaction happens between a fully charged ion and a temporarily charged dipole.
