test 2

Postby Cassidy Kohlenberger 3D » Sun Nov 10, 2019 12:13 am

test 2 isn't cumulative right? Is it only based on material covered after the midterm?

Yeah, it should just be material we learned after the midterm.

There may be topics that he might refer to concepts before the midterm, but it won't be the main aspect.

I would assume that the next test will be focused on new concepts, however it is likely that you may need to know some basic chemistry fundamentals to be able to solve multi-part problems. So it is best to still review concepts we have learned especially because the Final exam will then be only 1-2 weeks after that!

Test 2 is in week 8, right? I'm sure some of the prior material will be on it (at least the stuff on chemical bonds) since otherwise it'll only be covering a week or so of material.

Wait so is it cumulative or just on the topics we learn after the midterm. Different people are saying different things. Is it possible to hear from a TA or UA? Thanks!

It will probably focus mainly on stuff after the midterm but that doesn't mean you can forget everything else we have learned.

Nope it is not cumulative. It only tests us on material past the midterm. The final however is cumulative

Has he mentioned what parts of the outline it'll be?

I think it will probably be on what we learn after the midterm and maybe include chemical bonding.

I believe it will only cover what we learn after the midterm. If he does include anything from before, it may just be chemical bonding topics. Hope this helps!

Will test 2 contain problems verbatim from the homework like the midterm did?

Also, is test 2 worth the same amount as test 1?
