Study Strategies

Postby Qilan Li 4I » Sun Dec 01, 2019 6:07 pm

I heard that the final is very conceptual. I used to do all the homework problems to study for the tests and midterm and I have done alright, not super well. What study strategies would be best for the final?

Probably just go to review sessions because those usually have the same concepts as what appear on the exam.

I feel like you should go to the review sessions for topic that you need the most help in. Also office hours too!!

It sounds like you are doing fine in the class. I would say that reading over some of the textbook and attending the workshops are very helpful in reviewing and applying what we learned in lecture.

I did the same and I have the same concerns about the final. I'm thinking going to the review sessions will help!

When reading over the textbook do you suggest taking notes? I have tried to read it and it just gets so arduous at times. Is there any way you would suggest to make it more involving and help retain the information.
