(Greek Prefix) Ligand names in alphabetical order, Transition Metal Cation Name (Roman Numeral). If there are anions, then add it to the end. If there is water then add (Greek Prefix) Hydrate.

1) Greek Prefix
2) TM cation name with roman numerals
3) Anion
4) Hydrate with proper prefix

In lecture, we learned that when writing coordination compounds, we write the following:
(Greek Prefix) Ligand names alphabetical order, then Transition Metal Cation name (Roman Numeral).
However, if there are anions, then the anion will be named after the Roman Numeral.

If there is a neutral molecule too, do you write its name before the hydrate?

I am not sure by what it meant that when a ligand name is with DI-, TRI-, TETRA, or polydentate, we should have different prefixes such as bis, tris, tetrakis, and pentakis. Are there any examples with these prefixes?
