What is the definition of a Bronsted Acid and Base that Dr. Lavelle wants us to know?

In simple terms, the Bronsted acids and bases can be identified as such:
Acids give away H+ while bases accept H+.

The Bronstead-Lowry definition of acids and bases are PROTON donors/acceptors. acids being proton donors and bases being proton acceptors
