Identify the salt that is produced from the acid-base neutralization reaction between potassium hydroxide and acetic acid.
How would I do this? I know it is supposed to produce water but the salt doesn't look quite right if I have more than 1 carbon

Potassium acetate is produced:
CH3CO2H(aq)+K^+(aq)+OH^-(aq)-->K^+(aq)+CH3CO2^-(aq)+H2O(l)
CH3CO2H(aq)+K^+(aq)+OH^-(aq)-->K^+(aq)+CH3CO2^-(aq)+H2O(l)

We knew the ionic compound created would be ammonium phosphate. Since ammonium is +1 and phosphate is 3- we need three NH4+ to balance out the PO4 3- From there, work backwards to write the reactants side of the chemical reaction.
3NH3(aq) + H3PO4(aq) --> 3NH4+(aq) + PO4 3-(aq)
