An oxoacid is any acid containing an oxygen group. The presence of the oxygen group helps withdraw the electrons and stabilize the structure, which would then result in a stronger acid.

In addition to the problem above when the molecule is an oxoacid when drawing the lewis structure the hydrogen will be attached to the oxygen, even when the oxygen is not the central atom.

An oxyacid is an acid that contains oxygen and contains at least one other element. It also has at least one hydrogen atom bonded to oxygen.

An oxoacid is an acid with oxygen in the compound. It is important to note that metallic oxides are strong acids.
