dirty/clean coal
what exactly did we need to know about the difference between clean and dirty coal?

Dirty coal has sulfur in it and clean coal has very minimal, almost negligible amounts.

clean coal produces less So2 (less sulphurous acid thus less acid is reacting with water vapor to form acid rain)

Does the sulfur from dirty coal or SO2 contribute to acid rain or are they different concepts entirely?

Dirty coal has more Sulfur in it while clean coal has less sulfur content and thus more Carbon content.
