Is there such a thing as a strong salt and weak salt?

No, but you can differentiate between an acidic, normal, and basic salt. A salt formed from a strong acid and weak base is normally acidic and a salt formed from a strong base and a weak acid is normally basic.

You can notice how the salt would behave in water. This can only tell you neutral, acid, or basic. However, remember that group 2 elements can react in water although we overlooked that in class.

No, because salts do not affect the pH of a solution in any major way, and therefore cannot be "strong" or "weak."

There are no such things as a strong or weak salt because salts do not affect the pH.

No, a salt is usually the resulting product in a neutralization reaction.

A salt cannot be strong or weak
