Probably go over your midterm, go over homework problems, and examples Lavelle emphasized in class.

He seems to like putting all of the exceptions on the assessments. I will be looking at a lot of the rules that must be followed when calculating / carrying out certain processes, but more emphatic on the things that don't follow the rules (which will probably also cause me to better know what the rules are).

The UA's are also going to be holding another Final Review Session this Friday night. They posted a practice final under the name "Marshmallow" that should mimic the sort of problems that will be on the final.

I would definitely take advantage of the review material and session provided by the Undergraduate and Teaching assistants!

I think a good way would be to go through all concepts and then homework problems that may seem hard/tricky and review sheets that will be provided.

I would recommend going over the notes, completing the homework problems, reviewing past tests (including the midterm), and attending the review sessions that professor has setup.

I'd say definitely go over the midterm solutions (especially problems you got marked off), this will give you an idea of what test concepts you didn't quite understand! Also, you should study the concepts we didn't cover in the midterm, because I lowkey feel like Dr. Lavelle is the type of professor to put new content on the final that he might excluded in the midterm (AHEM, Heisenberg Uncertainty). If you need help with the content covered on the midterm or before, do the assigned homework problems in the Outlines and watch YouTube videos! For more conceptual questions and a similar testing simulation, there are also the activities on SaplingLearning Plus.

I would say to watch Youtube videos if you're confused about general concepts and to do the UA problem set.

Reading the textbook does help clear up/solidify concepts that we have learned!

Do homework problems, make flashcards for the common ligand names, and try to do UA session worksheets

Working with others is always beneficial, since one person does not have the same information as another person, and overall helps with encouragement and support.

Spend your time carefully. I would spend more of my time on acids and bases than fundamentals and little stuff like that.

I would say to try to go as many peer learning sessions as you can, that'll help you understand new material better.

I think that as it gets closer to the final, it is best to review the topics that you know you are weakest at and really try to understand the concepts at play.

Go through the past exams that we have had. Understand all your mistakes from the midterm and tests.

I think what helped me most for the final was doing all the textbook problems and readings as well as really understanding the lecture notes.

I know it's fairly late for this advice now but I think that one of the best ways to study would have been by doing as many homework problems as possible from the many sections, reading the text book, and looking over the past tests that we have been given!
