Concentrations at Equilibrium

At equilibrium, are the concentrations of reactants and products the same?

No, the concentration of reactants and products do not have to be the same. However, at equilibrium, the net change of reactants and products is 0. Although reactions are still occurring, the rate of the forward and backward reactions are equal.

At equilibrium, it’s not necessarily that the reactant and product concentrations are the same. Instead, the RATIO of reactant and product concentrations stays constant.

The concentration of the products and reactants do not have to be the same at equilibrium. The concentration of products does not change at equilibrium, and the concentration of reactants does not change at equilibrium too.

The concentration of the reactants and products are not necessarily the same; they are just at specific concentrations that allow the reaction to be at equilibrium where both the reaction and reverse reaction occur at an equal rate.

No, the concentration of products and reactants are not the same but the ratio that gives the equilibrium constant is the same.

Essentially equilibrium concentrations are the concentrations that you determine using the ice table.
