units
for the equilibrium constant of pressure, what units are acceptable? do we have to convert all pressures to atm? In class Lavelle used ate but the textbook uses bar... do we convert or just use bar

Re: units
By definition, the equilibrium constant has no units, as we're supposed to be using active masses instead of the molarity/ concentrations of the respective substances.

During lecture, Dr. Lavelle talked about how in ideal situations, we assume that the activity equals the concentration, which is why we have no units. Could something clarify this idea a bit?
