### Value of K

Is there a value that K can not reach? Because I was thinking that electrons can not move faster than the speed of light which limits speed. So is there a threshold that K can not reach?

I'm sure there is a threshold that K can reach, but it wouldn't be because of speed or anything. It'd simply have to do with the relative concentrations or pressures of the products and reactants

### Re: Value of K

K is a ratio based on the concentrations or partial pressures of the products and reactants involved so its threshold is relative.

### Re: Value of K

If you're looking for an absolute threshold for all reactions, K cannot be less than 0 and no greater than the concentrations of the reactants to the power of the respective coefficients. So yes, it's relative to the reaction that is taking place.

### Re: Value of K

Since K is a ratio the threshold would depend on the molar ratio of the products and reactants given in the reaction.
