Hw for next week

Postby LeAirraBullingor2k » Sun Jan 12, 2020 8:10 pm

Is it okay to do a few problems from equilibrium constants for next weeks homework?

I think you should prob be find doing some of them as equilibrium but should do some as the next topic too. Last quarter in 14a my TA gave credit as long as the 5 problems were about pretty recent topics, and being that it'll be week 2, I feel like it would be ok.

I believe that you can do either chemical equilibrium or acid bases. I believe Lavelle said if you have a discussion earlier in the week he doesn't expect you to do the acid and base homework.

in lecture I remember him mentioning that equilibrium hw for both weeks is okay!

It will be okay to do the equilibrium hw as he is barely gonna go over acids and bases starting next week, as mentioned in lecture.

From experience in 14A, the homework problems are really more for your understanding than for credit... just pick any problem relating to something we have gone over and he will accept it, it's more repition that will help you study and do better on the tests.

I think both are fine since they will both be recent topics; I'm saying this because I took Lavelle for 14A and our TAs were OK with it.

As long as you do 5 per week, but make sure to do problems from different sections from the outline so that you get exposed to different types of questions and show that you have done the hw.

I think as long we continue to cover equilibrium during lecture this week it should be fine, but I also believe you should contact your TA!

Yes, that is okay because it is something that we have recently learned. All of week 1 material is very recent as it is the only material we have learned so far, so it should all be fine to do homework this upcoming week that relates to equilibrium constants.

Lavelle said that doing problems from either Chemical Equilibrium or/ and Acids and Bases will be okay because we will be finishing Chemical Equilibrium today in lecture and starting Acids and Bases on Wednesday.

Yes, as long as we talk about chem eq which we will.

As long as we cover the information during the week.

You can do homework on chemical equilibria or acids and bases. Just make sure it is different problems than the ones that you did last week!

You can do homework for chemical equilibrium this week, just make sure you don't use the same problems as last week! Also, you can do problems from acids and bases.

I don't think it matters that much as long as the topics are relevant! Practicing acid and bases would be helpful though.

I'm sure it's fine since it's still recently covered material!

Yes it should be okay, last quarter as long as it was recent we received credit. It is also still pretty early since it's week 2 and we went over it last week.

On the syllabus, it states that we can do any 5 questions from relevant and current topics. So since we just moved in to acids and bases on Monday I would say we can also do questions from equilibrium.

as long as the problems cover "recent material"
