### Converting K to Kc

Do we need to know how to convert it? If so, how?

### Re: Converting K to Kc

K is Kc if you are using concentrations, but you can convert Kc to Kp using PV=nRT since n/V is concentration(molarity).

### Re: Converting K to Kc

K can be Kc (for concentration) or Kp (dealing with gas given the partial pressure). PV=nRT can be used to convert between Kc and Kp.

### Re: Converting K to Kc

If you are given values in Molarity, use Kc. If you are given values in pressure units, use Kp. Kc and Kp have the same equation and mean the same thing depending on what types of values are plugged into the expression.
