The conjugate seesaw is referring to the conjugate acid and conjugate base of acid and base, the compound a base or acid turns into after donating or accepting hydrogen. A problem can give you the concentration of a conj. base or acid and some other information and ask you to use that information to solve for something else, through the ICE table or other general formulas.

The conjugate seesaw simply states that the stronger the acid, the weaker its conjugate base and the stronger a base, the weaker its conjugate acid.
