Textbook question 4C.3

What are the correct answers for this question? The answer key just says the answer is 373K, but there are four parts to this question.


4C.3 Calculate the final temperature and the change in enthalpy when 765 J of energy is transferred as heat to 0.820 mol Kr(g) at 298 K and 1.00 atm (a) at constant pressure; (b) at constant volume. Treat the gas as ideal.

The answers should be that at constant pressure your temperature = 343 and at constant volume your temperature = 373

a. 343 degrees K
b. 373 degrees K
