Delta U

What does delta U stand for? Is it just the change in heat of the system?

Delta U is the change in internal energy of the system and will come more into play when going over thermodynamics, as it is part of the first law of thermodynamics.

Delta U is the change in energy of the internal system. Also, Lavelle said he would discuss this Wednesday.

Delta U is the change in internal energy described by the first law of thermodynamics. The equation for delta u is heat (q) + work (w) = Internal energy ( delta U).
