Re: Midterm dates
The midterm will be cumulative. Specifically, Dr. Lavelle says that the midterm will cover Equilibrium, Acids & Bases, Thermochemistry, and Thermodynamicsm.

Also, the review sessions that are listed on Dr. Lavelle's website match the topics that we will be tested on.

Re: Midterm dates
It's cumulative so it will cover the topics from Test 1 + Thermochemistry and Thermodynamics.

for more info, Lavelle has a page on his website that says the topics and there are also topic outlines

Re: Midterm dates
Also, for thermodynamics, the midterm will not cover the second half of the book notes and problems. That is the section involving K constant and equilibrium as they relate to thermodynamics.
Re: Midterm dates
The midterm will cover equilibrium, acids/bases, thermochemistry, and thermodynamics (only the first page of the thermodynamics learning outcomes will be covered)

Re: Midterm dates
The midterm will be cumulative of topics through thermodynamics. Dr. Lavelle made clear during lecture that the midterm will not cover any topics from Chapter 5 in Outline 4.

Re: Midterm dates
everything up to first half of thermodynamics, with an emphasis on material after test 1.
