Re: 4B.5 Conversion
For this one I converted Torr to atm ( 1 Torr=0.001316 atm ). Then I converted mL to L. Then you can convert L*atm to J using the conversion ( 1 L*atm=101.325 J ).

Re: 4B.5 Conversion
You first change torr to atm by multiplying 750(.00131). This then gets multiplied by the change in volume leaving you with the units atm L. To convert this into joules, you multiply it by 2 versions of the gas constant divided by each other so that the units cancel leaving you with Joules. (8.314k mol-1/.0826 l atm k-1 mol-1)

Re: 4B.5 Conversion
1 Torr = 0.001316 atm, so you can convert to atm by multiplying 750 by 0.001316, giving 0.987 atm.
Re: 4B.5 Conversion
convert torr to atm. 760 torr = 1 atm.
then you will get the answer in L*atm.
multiple this with 101.325 J/ L*atm.
L*atm will cancel out. The final answer will be in joules.
then you will get the answer in L*atm.
multiple this with 101.325 J/ L*atm.
L*atm will cancel out. The final answer will be in joules.
