why is a reaction in a bomb calorimeter considered an isolated system?

In an isolated system no matter or energy is able to be transferred. I though a bomb calorimeter was a closed system not isolated?

a bomb calorimeter is tightly sealed and insulated which means that heat cannot be transferred with the surroundings. Also, the volume of the system cannot change so there can be no work done. This means that it is an isolated system.

A reaction in a bomb calorimeter considered an isolated system because a bomb calorimeter is sealed tightly. Therefore, heat cannot be transferred. Teh volume of the system is not changed therefore it is an isolated system.

A reaction in a bomb calorimeter is considered an isolated system because the calorimeter is closed and isolated. This means that no energy and no matter is being transferred.

It is so tightly sealed that the volume can not change and there is no effect from the outside system.

An isolated system is simply a system where there is no heat flow into or out of the system and where the volume is cannot change.

In a calorimeter, energy and matter both CANNOT be transferred between the system and surroundings because of the tight seal, making it an isolated system
