Constant T,P,V
In what instances will we know when temperature, pressure, or volume are held constant when calculating the change in entropy?

the question will specify, for example if it says the volume increased from 20M to 25M then u know the volume changed... use the context clues in the question

A good strategy is to write out the given values, like what is volume1 and volume2. Usually, if there is only one temperature or volume or pressure, you will know that that is the one staying constant.

the question will often let you know whether the pressure, volume, or temperature is going to be held constant. Sometimes, too, the question will say that the reaction is isobaric or isochoric, which tells you which value is being held constant in the system.

Most of these variables will be given in the question in order to solve.
There was also a list put up with some useful terms that describe whether some things are constant, like "isothermal" for constant temperature or "isochoric" for constant volume.
