Calorimeter and Bomb Calorimeter
I don't know what exactly calorimeters are and I don't know what the differences are either. Can someone please explain how we're also going to use them in problems as well?

Re: Calorimeter and Bomb Calorimeter
Calorimeters measure the temperature difference in a reaction. Bomb calorimeter means that the volume is constant. I would review what it means for a system to be isolated, closed, or open.
Re: Calorimeter and Bomb Calorimeter
Adding on, because calorimeter's measure temperature changes, they will typically be seen in problems regarding specific heat capacities.

There is a really good video on YouTube that may help you understand the concept:

Re: Calorimeter and Bomb Calorimeter
A calorimeter measures the change in temperature, but a bomb calorimeter has constant volume.
