solids and liquids in the rxn quotient
When calculating Q, do we exclude solids and liquids as when we calculate K? (I'm mostly referring to problem two on the Pizza Rolls review packet)

Yes, we always exclude solids and liquids when calculating for Q or K.

Re: solids and liquids in the rxn quotient
We never include solvents/liquids and solids for K and Q. Only aq and g are accepted.

Yes, liquids and solids are excluded from calculating K or Q.
Re: solids and liquids in the rxn quotient
Yes, you exclude solids and liquids. You only take into account gases and aqueous solutions when calculating Q and/or K.

Yes. The reason being is that liquids and solids are always in excess/change is negligible in the reversible rxns, so their molarities would cancel out in the K equation anyways. hope this helps!

Solids and Liquids have an activity level of 1, so even if you include them in the calculations they will have no effect on the results.

Re: solids and liquids in the rxn quotient
Yes exclude the solids and liquids. They usually are in excess as they barely react and the concentration of liquids change very little making the change negligible.
