Midterm Material
Will Gibbs Free energy be on the midterm? It was one of the final topics we covered and I just don't want to misuse my study time.

Re: Midterm Material
I would briefly look over it but in my opinion, I don't think he would put very difficult questions on that because we just went over it on the last day for like 20 minutes.
Re: Midterm Material
Based on what he said in class and Outline 4, the midterm should cover everything that we have learned in class so far (up to last Fri 2/7).

Re: Midterm Material
He mentioned in class that only the first page of outline 4 would be on the midterm.
Re: Midterm Material
Do you think he will go over any example problems tomorrow regarding the Gibbs Free Energy stuff that he discussed on Friday? Or does anyone have some good practice problems to share?
Re: Midterm Material
I assume we shouldn't focus on it much, but it might help knowing more about it but I am not sure if its worth risking studying it more instead of earlier topics

Re: Midterm Material
I think basically the general ideas of Gibbes free energy and the central equation is what's expected (only the stuff from the first page of the outline on thermodynamics)
