For Dr. Lavelle's test 2 last quarter there were 10 questions. I would say it's safe to assume between 8-10 questions

My TA said you should expect the similar amount of problems but I would assume that the length of the problems may be different. The questions from electrochemistry seem to be longer and more complex in terms of understanding balancing redox reactions and then applying this concept to galvanic cells and such. Hope this helps further!

It should be around 10 questions but they might be shorter just because these problems are really long and not much can be finished in the 50 minutes if they were full problems.

My TA said something similar as well. I think that because these problems tend to be more complex than Test 1 problems, the number of subproblems will be significantly less.

It should be similar to test 1, so around 7-10 questions.

I assume what everyone else is saying, about 7-10 questions.

Yep! The second half of outline 4 being 5G or page 2 of the outline.

Sweet, thank you so much!

Would there be any conceptual ideas that we should know before the test?

I would go through his outlines. For 14A test2, there were definitely a lot of "conceptual" questions in addition to the "math-heavy" questions.

Test 1 only had 7 or 8 I thought. Does that mean that test two is going to be longer?
