Second order reaction

Postby Rafsan Rana 1A » Mon Mar 09, 2020 12:53 am

What is relationship between the half life of the second order reaction and the concentration of the reactant?

The equation for the half life of a second order reaction is t(1/2) = 1/ (k* [A]). Thus, this equation shows us that the concentration of A is inversely related to the half life, if the initial concentration of A increases, then the half life decreases. If the initial concentration of A decreases, then the half life increases.
