### K vs k1/k'1

When writing the rate law using pre-equilibrium, does it matter if we write the answer as k2K or k2k1/k'1?

I do not think it really matters which one you write it as. It is however important to know that K is equal to k1/k'1 if you are only given the values of k1 and k'1 and not a value for K.

I believe that it will tell you which way to write it but otherwise either way should be fine.
