Will have to actually do integrals and derivatives or was that just used as showing us conceptual why the equation works?

I do not believe we will be tested on the process specifically but as you said fully understanding this process makes it much easier to understand the concept presented and also how the equations work and how the different parts of the equation react when manipulated.

Unless there has actually been a HW or test problem that made us do that before, I wouldn't expect it.

I don't believe any derivations or integrals will be tested; the formulas are all provided on the equation sheet.

I believe it was used to show how the equations work but would not necessarily be applied on a test.

Not to solve problems or anything, but I think you should at least be familiar with using them in derivations.

its only necessary in deriving certain equations, but if theres no hw questions on it im sure we wont be asked a question that requires it
