Postby Mallika Singh 1G » Sun Mar 15, 2020 7:43 am

what exactly was the purpose of the 3/2R and 5/2R constants? when would we need to use them?

For a detailed description and related exercises, check p.264 in the textbook and 4C exercises.

Which one, 3/2R or 5/2R, corresponds with constant volume and which corresponds with constant pressure?
