There are no learning objectives listed on the class website that refer to blackbody radiation, so I don't believe there's anything you need to know for the midterm. The main thing about blackbody radiation is that it is a quantum mechanical phenomena.

I don't believe this concept will be on the test. Just focus on the learning objectives that Lavelle listed in each outline. After looking at the last test, I'm pretty sure he would test us on problems that are similar to the homework problems.

I don't believe he will be testing us on it. You can always email your ta to ask! but because it was so brief I wouldn’t be too worried.

Black body radiation isn't something that we go into depth for this course. So it will not be in any midterms or the final.
