VSEPR Chart

Are we going to be given a Vsepr chart for our midterms and final? Or are we expected to just memorize it

No, you will need to be able to determine the shape and molecular geometry from Lewis structures or the chemical formula of the compound. In short, you should memorize the chart

What about for polyatomic ions? Are we also expected to memorize it as well. If so, can someone give me a list or an easier to derive the formula for a polyatomic ion?

We are expected to know/memorize the chart because it's not going to be given.
